Magnetization Direction of Magnet
The magnetization occurs during the process of shaping the magnet, this means there is no magnet without this step.
Here we focus on the direction of the magnet:
The use of the box is also very wide, many customers after reporting the size and performance of the box, when I asked him. Which of them is the direction of the magnetic field, they said they did not know, it is not clear. I have to know that the direction of the magnetic field is not the same.
There is a difference, and if the direction of the magnetic flux is mistaken, then the magnet made is useless. For more details on the magnetization direction, please see the figure below.

MAGNETIZING OPTIONS
Below you will find information about the magnetization direction of our magnets according to their form:
Cylinder / Disc / Rod
![]() |
Axially Magnetized.
Magnetized through the length or thickness. Strongest points are on the flat faces.
|
![]() |
Diametrically Magnetized.
Magnetized through the diameter. Strongest points are on the curved surface.
|
![]() |
Radially Magnetized.
Magnetized all north or all south. Possible in theory, but tooling costs for the magnetization machine are not practical.
|
Cubes / Rectangles / Block
![]() |
Through The Thickness.
Magnetized through the thickness. Strongest points on the ends of the thickness. Thickness is usually the smallest dimension of a rectangle.
|
![]() |
Through the Width.
Magnetized through the width. Strongest points on the ends of the width. Width is usually the 2nd largest dimension of a rectangle.
|
![]() |
Through the Length.
Magnetized through the length. 2 Strongest points on the ends of the Length. Length is usually the largest dimension of a rectangle.
|
Arcs / Segments / Wedges
![]() |
Diametrically Magnetized Arc.
Magnetized from the Inside Radius (r) through the Outside Radious (R). Strongest points are on the curved surfaces. Not a stocked item but available upon request.
|
![]() |
Chord Magnetized Arc.
Magnetized Across the Arc. Strongest points are on the flat angled faces. Not a stocked item but available upon request
|
![]() |
Axially Magnetized Arc.
Magnetized through the thickness. Strongest points are on the flat faces. Not a stocked item but available upon request
|
Custom / Spheres / Balls / Pot / Cup Magnets
![]() |
Axially Magnetized.
Magnetized through the diameter (Like the Earth). Strongest points are on opposite ends.
|
![]() |
Axially Magnetized.
A Cup or Pot is a regular magnet inside of a stainless steel shell. This shell absorbs the magnetic field on one side and forces it toward the opposite direction, creating a double pull at one end of the magnet.
|
![]() |
Custom Magnetized.
Available Magnetized through the customer design request.
|
Rings / Tubes
![]() |
Multi-Pole Oriented Ring.
|
![]() |
Diametrically Magnetised Ring.
|
![]() |
Radially Magnetised Ring.
