Countersunk magnets are available with either pole on the magnetic face so that they can be used as a pair to attract or repel. If you are using two magnets to attract you need to make sure the opposite poles are facing each other as identical poles will repel! This magnet in a steel pot has a countersunk borehole and can be fastened with a countersunk screw.
They have a steel, brass, stainless steel or plastic shell. The steel shell prevents dispersion of the magnetic field and increases the magnetic force of the attracting surface. The shell – or pot – also provides better corrosion and chemical resistance. The maximum operating temperature ranges from 60 to 450 °C.Pot magnets – also called cup magnets – and magnetic hooks are compact magnet systems with a single attracting surface.Pot magnets with countersunk hole, Neodymium Countersunk U-profile Assembly Magnet Shielded System Ø20mm
Pot magnets with screw hole – also called countersunk magnets – are compact magnet systems with a steel shell and a countersunk hole for easy mounting. The bolt with a flat countersunk head falls flush with or in the top of the magnet. This optimizes the attracting surface of the pot magnet. Neodymium Mounting Holding Pot Countersunk Magnet Ø16mm
Thanks to the shell of these magnet systems, the magnetic field strength increases and the pot magnets are more resistant to corrosion or chemicals. Pot magnets have a single attracting surface. This precludes dispersion of the magnetic field. NdFeB Flat Pot Magnet with Countersunk, Neodymium Countersunk Hole Shallow Cap Magnet Pot magnets with countersunk hole are available in various sizes and types such as neodymium, ferrite and AlNiCo.
