Functioning of the neodymium pot magnets with steel pot: A neodymium magnet is embedded in a steel pot. This metal housing protects the neodymium magnet from damage and increases the adhesive force. In order to achieve an optimal adhesive force, the pot magnet must rest directly on the metallic surface. A thin sheet of iron or paint can reduce the adhesive force very quickly. The adhesive force only acts on the open magnet side, since the steel pot shields the magnetic effect.
Special feature: These pot magnets have a threaded bushing on the opposite side of the magnet. In the existing internal thread you can e.g. Screw in screws or other parts with an external thread. The maximum operating temperature is 80 ° C. Φ10mm Screw Pot Magnet Assembly Neodymium w/ Male Threaded Stud
These magnetic plates form the basis of our hook magnets / eyelet magnets, which you can of course also get from our shop.
This magnet type is available with a ferrite core for light fastening tasks.
The holding magnets / assembly magnets / pot magnets are used particularly often in industry, trade fairs and assembly. The strong pot magnets are also indispensable in the advertising sector / display construction / lighting sector. Φ75mm Neodymium Pot Magnet with A Bushing
This NdFeB pot magnet has a threaded bush and this structure makes it possible to mount hooks or other objects on this part. Comparing with its ferrite version, NdFeB pot magnet gives much higher holding force.
We manufacture the pot magnets with either a plain finish, countersunk or a choice of fixing studs dependent on the intended application. NdFeB Flat Pot Magnet with Internal Threaded Bush
Due to their high magnetic contact grip, pot magnets are particularly suited to applications where the holding force is paramount such as retail or external signage.
